Who is Sebastian?
Sebastian lives in Mjölby with his wife and their three children. He originally hails from Karlstad and, as a dedicated supporter of the Färjestad hockey team, has long been passionate about ice hockey. Much of his free time is devoted to his family and his children’s activities; he also volunteers as a soccer coach for his son’s team. When the opportunity arises, he enjoys taking the family’s small boat out on the lake or unwinding by watching sports, preferably hockey.
A solid background in sprinkler design
After completing his military service, Sebastian trained as a civil engineer and spent the past ten years working as a consultant and project manager in sprinkler design, most recently at Nordiska Brand. During this time, he gained extensive experience across a wide range of projects—from large warehouse facilities and high-rise buildings to combined heat and power plants and smaller LSS residential homes.
His experience in handling projects with varied requirements and complexity has given him a broad knowledge base in sprinkler systems and the construction process as a whole. This expertise will be highly valuable in his new position at SBSC.
New challenges at SBSC
In his role as a Certification Engineer at SBSC, Sebastian will initially focus on certifying fire protection systems, specifically sprinkler and water mist systems. He looks forward to continuing his professional development and expanding his skill set into related areas such as fire alarms and other extinguishing systems.
Drawing on his comprehensive background in sprinkler technology and construction processes, Sebastian aims to enhance SBSC’s work by providing both technical expertise and practical insights into how regulations and standards are effectively applied in practice. He also sees opportunities to introduce new perspectives and further strengthen the company’s relationships with customers and partners.
